Event History

The first Glimmer of Hope Auction was held in April 2005 for St. John Berchmans School. Because of the generosity of friends like you, we successfully have added enrichment classes to our After School Program, expanded our curiculum and have made huge strides in updating our facilities. Though we have done incredible things, we continue to rely on our friends to offer quality education to the children of Logan Square.

This year, new hardwood floors were installed throughout the entire second floor of the Logan School Building. Sutdents in both the Altgeld and Logan Campuses are taking advantage of our expanded After School Program, which now includes French and Mandarin language lessons as well as an Early Childhood Music Program, Dance, Tae Kwon Do, Yoga and Chess in partnership with local businesses. In addtion, three new Promethean Boards (interactive, digital white boards) have been installed, allowing us to further integrate technology into our curriculum and enrich the learning experiences of our students.
